Jeff is dedicated to litigation, trial and appeals in complex commercial, mining, oil and gas, real estate, construction, employment, personal injury and medical malpractice cases for corporate, banking, institutional and individual clients.
In the past 23 years of practice, Jeff has successfully represented plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of multi-million-dollar cases in the courts of southwestern Pennsylvania. A number of Jeff’s cases have been reported in local and national legal journals.
He is currently the President of the Washington County Bar Association and also serves on its Executive Committee, and Civil Court Rules and Budget Committees (www.washcobar.org).
He is past-president and current member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Southwestern Pennsylvania, and is active in several other professional associations, on local, state and national levels.
He is a regular presenter for Continuing Legal Educational seminars on litigation and trial subjects.
Past experiences include service on non-profit boards for Nemacolin Country Club, and the Pittsburgh Concert Society. He is a past member of the Tuesday Musical Club and a resigned member in good standing of the Charleroi Lions Club.
Jeff was awarded both his B.A. (cum laude) and his J.D. degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and its School of Law.
Jeff is also an accomplished pianist. One solo recital welcomed a standing-room only crowd at the Frick Museum in Point Breeze.

A graduate of Washington & Jefferson College and the University of Pittsburgh Law School. Judi is an integral part of the firm’s litigation section concentrating in the medical malpractice field, earning judgments for a number of clients throughout Washington County and southwestern Pennsylvania.
She is also an experienced litigator in the areas of workers’ compensation and social security disability. Judi serves as a legal affairs and administrative affairs officer for the Civil Air Patrol Squadron 603.

A graduate of Washington & Jefferson College and Duquesne University of Law. Mike works with Brad Bassi and Judy Veres in the firm’s litigation section on matters including personal injury cases and medical malpractice cases, to family law matters including divorce proceedings and child custody.
He also serves as first assistant district attorney for Washington County and is one of the most experienced trial lawyers in the region. Mike is solicitor for the Borough of Charleroi and also represents the Charleroi Area School District. He is a member of the Washington County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations.
